Gemini Now Supports Scheduled Actions Similar to ChatGPT

Google’s Gemini AI is enhancing its functionalities by introducing support for scheduled tasks, allowing users to create actions for specific times using natural language prompts. This feature aims to streamline routine activities such as checking stock prices, summarizing unread emails, and updating calendar events. It’s particularly handy for keeping track of sports teams or athletes. The scheduled actions are available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, as well as some Google Workspace plans, with management options found under the ‘Scheduled Actions’ settings in Gemini. This update comes as Google seeks to enhance Gemini’s capabilities, making it comparable to ChatGPT, which also introduced scheduled tasks and reminders earlier in 2025. As of now, Gemini boasts 400 million monthly active users, while ChatGPT has around 600 million.
