Google is reportedly creating a new feature called “Gemini Space” for its upcoming Pixel 10 series, potentially rebranding its existing “At a Glance” widget. This feature aims to provide enhanced contextual information such as finance updates and sports scores directly from the lock screen, resembling Samsung’s “Now Brief.” The foundation for “Gemini Space” may already exist in the Android 16 QPR1 Beta, with indications of related features like “Ambient Data” and “Ambience Hub.” These hints suggest that “Gemini Space” could show real-time information similar to Samsung’s Now Bar and Brief. Although specifics are still unclear, Google is working to deepen the integration of its Gemini AI across the Pixel lineup. The Pixel 10 series, expected to launch at a Made by Google event in August, may shed light on the final functionality of “Gemini Space” and its implications for other devices.
