Globe Telecom has partnered with Khan Academy Philippines to enhance digital learning accessibility for millions of Filipinos by integrating their world-class educational content into the GlobeOne app. This collaboration highlights Globe’s commitment to educational reforms focused on digitalization, teacher empowerment, and equitable learning access. The initiative features a digital skills program offering lessons in STEM, digital literacy, online safety, and essential life skills for students. Teachers benefit from Khanmigo, an AI assistant that streamlines administrative tasks and supports multiple Philippine languages.
Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s chief sustainability officer, emphasized the evolution of education through technology, while Geraldine B. Acuña-Sunshine, CEO of Khan Academy Philippines, envisioned classrooms enriched by digital tools. Additionally, Globe has supported local schools with tablets and internet access under its G-Gantic Goals program.
Education secretary Sonny Angara praised the partnership for empowering students and educators. Students, teachers, and parents are encouraged to access Khan Academy resources via the GlobeOne app.
