Google recently launched the AI Plus plan to offer access to its Gemini premium features at an affordable monthly rate. Aimed at bridging the gap between the free and premium membership tiers, this plan is currently available only in Indonesia. With plans to expand to India following the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go, the AI Plus plan allows users to experience advanced capabilities without a hefty price tag.
The AI Plus subscription includes the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, Veo 3 Fast video generation, and a significant upgrade with a 128K token context window, compared to the free tier’s 32K. Subscribers also benefit from integrations within Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive) and receive 200GB of cloud storage. This offering positions itself below the premium AI Ultra and Pro plans, making Google’s Gemini features more accessible amid rising competition from ChatGPT Go, which targets the Indian market.
