Google Cloud and Luton Technologies have solidified their strategic partnership, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) advancements. During a recent meeting in Seoul, Google Cloud Korea President Ji-sung and Luton CEO Lee Se-young discussed enhancing collaboration across AI, infrastructure, and security sectors. Google Cloud will supply its latest AI model, Gemini 2.5 Pro, to Luton’s chat service, Crack, improving user interactions with virtual AI characters. Crack, launched in April 2023, aims to provide a leisure-oriented experience, shifting from the previously used Gemini 2.5 Flash model to the more advanced Pro version. This partnership builds on Luton’s prior integration of Gemini 2.5 in its flagship service, Luton 3.0. Utilizing Google Cloud’s Vertex AI boosts data security, while BigQuery aids in decision-making. Both companies see this collaboration as a step towards ushering in the era of “living AI” in South Korea’s generative AI landscape.
