This update introduces built-in Firebase integration for backend services like data storage and user authentication, ensuring secure application environments. Additional features include automated database and authentication setup, external API integration for third-party services, a Secrets Manager for secure API key storage, and cross-session continuity for seamless work across devices. AI Studio now supports popular frameworks like Next.js, React, and Angular, further enhancing user experience with modern web tools. Currently available, the updated platform is designed for robust app development and is set to receive further enhancements, including Workspace integrations for Google Drive and Sheets.
