Google Enhances Gemini’s Capabilities with Scheduled Actions Feature

Gemini, a key app on Galaxy devices with One UI 7.0, enhances Samsung’s stock apps, making them more functional. Recently unveiled at Google I/O, Gemini’s new Scheduled Actions feature allows users to automate tasks and receive personalized updates by scheduling actions for specific times and dates. This can be easily accessed through voice or text commands, with a dedicated management page in the app. Users can utilize this feature to generate summaries of their calendars or receive updates on favorite sports teams. Currently, it is available to subscribers of the Gemini AI Pro and AI Ultra plans, with the Pro plan priced at $20 monthly. Samsung offers a free six-month Pro plan with Galaxy S25 devices. There’s potential for improving Gemini’s integration with more Samsung apps, particularly Modes and Routines, which could greatly enhance its functionality on Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
