Google Expands Query Limits for Paid AI Pro Users of Gemini 2.5

During Google I/O, Google rebranded its Gemini Advanced subscription, previously part of the Google One AI Premium plan, to Google AI Pro, now priced at $20 per month. This plan grants access to Gemini in Workspace apps and enhancements such as Veo 3, increased storage, and the advanced capabilities of Gemini’s latest models, including 2.5 Pro with Deep Research features. Initially available only to paid users, Gemini 2.5 Pro was later rolled out to free users with restrictions. To distinguish between free and paid tiers, Google has increased the query limit for Google AI Pro subscribers to 100 queries per day, up from 50, to accommodate high usage and ensure smoother functionality. This adjustment follows complaints from users encountering daily caps. The highest tier, Google AI Ultra, remains at $250 per month.
