Tech giant Google is reintroducing its free year of Google AI Pro for U.S. college students with the launch of its Gemini 3 Pro AI model. This offer grants students access to powerful AI tools, including Gemini 3 Pro, advanced learning tools like NotebookLM, and 2 TB of Google storage until spring 2027. Google aims to enhance research capabilities with features that summarize complex topics and audio overviews of notes. Additionally, students can use Gemini Live for brainstorming and rehearsal during presentations, along with AI integration in Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
To qualify for the offer, students must be 18+, enrolled in a participating institution, and can verify their status through SheerID using a personal Gmail account. Registration requires adding a payment method, and the sign-up deadline is December 9, 2025. This initiative marks Google’s strategy to support student learning and engagement with AI.
