Google’s Gemini AI model has officially launched in Azerbaijani, marking a major step in Azerbaijan’s digital evolution. The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport announced this inclusion among 23 new languages, enabling Azerbaijani users to access Gemini’s features in their native language alongside other global languages. The Azerbaijani interface is available on web and mobile platforms (Android and iOS), with real-time voice conversation capabilities via Gemini Live.
New creative tools introduced include Nano Banana for transforming ideas into visuals and Veo for generating high-quality 1080p videos. Additionally, three specialized functions aim to enhance productivity and education: Canvas for collaborative writing and coding, Deep Research for synthesizing complex data, and Guided Learning for individualized subject mastery through interactive testing. This integration of Azerbaijani language AI reflects the increasing demand for localized digital solutions, accelerating digital literacy and providing users with world-class tools to thrive globally. The Ministry continues to prioritize technological innovation in Azerbaijan.
