Google’s Gemini AI has introduced a new beta feature called Personal Intelligence for paid US subscribers, enabling personalized recommendations by accessing user data from Gmail, Photos, YouTube, and Search history. This innovative upgrade allows the assistant to offer tailored advice on various topics, from car maintenance to travel planning, based on your digital interactions. Users maintain control over data access, with privacy safeguards implemented. Personal Intelligence utilizes Google’s Gemini 3 models, cross-referencing emails and photos for customized insights. For example, it can find specific car parts by analyzing related images and past messages. Although switched off by default, users can connect or disconnect specific apps at any time. Google assures that the AI does not directly train on personal data but improves its responses based on interactions. Future updates will expand this feature globally and integrate it into Search’s AI Mode, enhancing personalization across platforms.
