Google has unveiled a new feature for its Gemini AI called Scheduled Actions, designed to automate routine tasks and provide personalized updates. Users can schedule specific tasks to run at designated times or create recurring actions, with a dedicated management page in Gemini’s settings. Examples of tasks include sending emails and notifications or preparing event overviews on the day they occur. This feature is exclusive to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, as well as certain Google Workspace business and education users. Additionally, Gemini now supports content analysis of videos in Google Drive, allowing users to obtain quick summaries and answers without watching the entire video. A forthcoming update will enhance the text copying mechanism for mobile users, enabling straightforward selection and sharing of text similar to typical web interactions. These updates aim to improve user efficiency and streamline access to information.
