Google Gemini Unveils Its Highly Anticipated Scheduled Actions Feature

admin

Google has introduced “Scheduled Actions” in its Gemini AI, allowing users to automate future tasks across mobile and web platforms. This feature helps users set prompts that execute at specified times, dates, or events, enhancing task management. Users provide detailed instructions for these scheduled actions, which Gemini confirms and activates. A new interface lets users view and manage their scheduled tasks, with mobile access through the profile menu and a more detailed web dashboard under “Settings & help.” Users can pause, resume, or delete actions, with the web version offering enhanced editing capabilities. However, this feature is limited to ten active scheduled actions for users with Google AI Pro or Ultra subscriptions. While similar to ChatGPT’s scheduled tasks, it provides flexibility for workflows, from daily summaries to workout routines. Notably, access to Scheduled Actions is restricted to premium users, excluding those on free plans.
