Google has announced a revamped Gmail experience as it integrates Gemini 3 to enhance personalization for its 3 billion users. New features, including AI summarization and advanced writing tools, aim to meet user demand for tailored responses. According to a recent survey, 85% of users find Gmail’s AI most beneficial when leveraging their content to create personalized replies. The “Help Me Write” tool, now updated to incorporate users’ data from various Google apps, generates customized email drafts based on their unique writing styles. Other features include “Suggested Replies” for improved response matching and an AI Overview tool that summarizes email threads for assisted task management. However, some advanced tools, like AI proofreading, will only be accessible to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Currently, these features are available in English within the US, with planned expansions to other languages and regions in the upcoming months.
