Google has launched a significant global rollout of its AI-driven travel features, enhancing the “Flight Deals” tool to assist users in planning and booking trips more effectively. Initially introduced in the U.S., Canada, and India, this feature is now accessible in over 200 countries, including the UK, France, and Japan, supporting more than 60 languages. Travelers can simply input their desired destination and dates, allowing Google’s AI to find the best fare options.
Additionally, Google is improving AI Mode in Search with the new Canvas tool, which generates personalized travel itineraries. Users can outline their trip preferences, receive detailed plans that include real-time flight and hotel data, and access curated recommendations for dining and activities optimized for travel time. Furthermore, the AI Mode’s booking tools are now available to all U.S. users, facilitating restaurant reservations and more. Future developments will enable direct flight and hotel bookings within AI Mode, streamlining the travel planning process.
