Key features include an upcoming “agentic browsing assistant” to automate tasks like appointment bookings and grocery orders. Gemini can compare and summarize information from multiple tabs, aiding in travel or research planning. Users will soon leverage natural language for AI-powered searches and access integrated apps like Calendar and YouTube without leaving the current webpage. The AI Mode in the Omnibox allows for complex queries, while advanced scam protection identifies fraudulent sites. Chrome will also optimize notifications and permissions using AI, and a new password agent will facilitate one-click password changes for compromised accounts, improving overall security and user efficiency.
