Google Launches User Try-On Feature While Nike Tests Conversational AI In-App

Notably, Nike is beta testing “NikeAI,” an in-app assistant designed for iOS users. This feature allows consumers to ask questions about gear and extends beyond traditional keyword searches to a more intuitive problem-solving approach. Additionally, Redmond startup Lumotive increased its Series B funding to $59 million with participation from Amazon’s Industrial Innovation Fund. Lumotive specializes in advanced chips for industrial machinery, enhancing their operational capabilities.

Meanwhile, Google launched new AI-enabling shopping tools, including a virtual try-on feature and a price tracking tool that alerts users when their desired products reach a set price. Both innovations reflect the trend towards personalized e-commerce experiences.
