Google has launched an AI experiment for users in India, introducing a new search method that allows users to ask multi-part questions and receive detailed answers. This feature, accessible through Search Lab, can be toggled on or off and facilitates follow-up questions in a chat-like format, allowing users to edit responses. However, it currently does not support regional Indian languages, with no indication of when they might be added. Initially tested with premium users in the U.S. earlier this year, the feature was rolled out to all U.S. users post-Google I/O. The Indian version also includes voice and image search capabilities, catering to the local preference for voice input, and has integrated purchasing features and advertisements into its AI mode.
