Google has introduced Flight Deals, an innovative AI-powered tool designed for flexible, budget-conscious travelers on Google Flights. This feature allows users to enter natural language descriptions of their desired trip—like preferred activities or timelines—and receive tailored flight suggestions. Utilizing Gemini technology, Flight Deals processes conversational queries and accesses real-time flight data from various airlines and agencies. It highlights low fares and suggests destinations users may not have previously considered, ranking flight options by percentage savings or lowest price. Currently in beta, Flight Deals is available in the US, Canada, and India without any special opt-in required and can be accessed through the Google Flights menu. Traditional Google Flights continues to operate, now featuring an option to exclude basic economy fares in the US and Canada.
