Google’s Gemini AI has introduced a new feature that simplifies handling PDFs in Google Drive. Starting June 12, when users open a PDF, they will see a summary card providing a brief overview of the document. This feature supports over 20 languages and enables clickable action buttons tailored to the PDF’s content, such as drafting proposals or listing interview questions. It is available for Google Workspace users on specific plans and can be disabled in account settings for those who prefer not to use it. Additionally, Gemini will soon enhance Google Forms by summarizing responses and generating new forms based on user input. While the response summarization is currently only in English, plans are underway to support other languages. Both features will start rolling out to users shortly, with hopes of improving productivity and accessibility in document management.
