Google is introducing new Gemini AI features for Workspace users, enhancing information retrieval from PDFs and Google Forms. Gemini’s file summarization now includes PDFs, creating summary cards that highlight key details and actionable suggestions, such as drafting proposals or generating interview questions. This feature is designed to streamline information access, available in over 20 languages, with rollout beginning on June 12th. Additionally, a similar summarization capability for Google Forms will condense responses to open-ended questions, showcasing key themes, and will be accessible in the Responses tab after more than three inputs, initially launching in English on June 26th. Another helpful tool, “help me create,” allows users to generate forms based on descriptive prompts, incorporating details from supporting documents. This feature will begin rolling out to regular Workspace domains on July 7th, also exclusive to English users for now.
