Google’s Gemini AI Set to Summarize PDFs and Form Responses in Drive Soon

Google has announced new features integrating its AI assistant, Gemini, into Google Workspace, specifically for Drive and Forms, as detailed in a recent Google Workspace Updates blog post. In Google Drive, users will receive automatic summaries of PDFs that highlight key points and suggested actions within the sidebar, supporting over 20 languages and currently being rolled out. For Google Forms, Gemini will summarize responses once at least three participants have contributed, with this feature launching on June 26th, initially in English only. Additionally, starting July 7th, a new tool will allow users to generate forms quickly using a simple description or by pulling information from existing documents in Google Workspace. This ongoing integration aims to enhance productivity and streamline workflows within the platform.
