Grammarly Transformed: The Ultimate Writing Tool Integrated into a Cutting-Edge AI Agent Suite

Grammarly’s parent company has rebranded itself as Superman, marking a strategic pivot towards agentic AI tools. The rebranding will maintain Grammarly as a writing tool, while introducing other productivity tools like Coda, Superhuman Mail, and the new AI assistant Superhuman Go—available only through the paid Grammarly Pro subscription. This name change reflects the company’s deep investment in artificial intelligence, particularly after acquiring Superhuman Mail in June. Chief Product Officer Noam Lovinsky emphasized that the rebrand had been planned since late last year, following the acquisition of collaborative tool Coda. While Grammarly’s brand remains integral, it will take a backseat as Superhuman becomes the focal point. The revamped suite will include features that integrate with over 100 apps, providing contextual suggestions by accessing personal data from Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook via a Superhuman Agent Store. This shift positions Superman as a leader in productivity AI solutions, enhancing user experience across multiple platforms.
