Grammarly has rebranded its parent company as Superhuman, marking its evolution from an AI writing tool to a full-fledged productivity suite. This transition follows the acquisition of the AI email client Superhuman on June 30, 2025, aimed at integrating advanced email technology into Grammarly’s offerings. CEO Shishir Mehrotra emphasized that the new branding signifies a shift to a suite that includes Grammarly’s trusted writing assistance, Coda’s comprehensive workspace, and the innovative Superhuman Go. This new product introduces a team of AI agents that can assist with tasks like brainstorming, scheduling, and data retrieval without explicit prompts, enhancing user workflows. Additionally, the Superhuman Agents SDK allows developers to integrate custom AI solutions, with early collaborators such as Common Room and Radial Candor. The initiative aims to embed AI seamlessly in everyday tasks, empowering users to focus on creativity and strategy while automating routine responsibilities.
