Taylor Davis, a Howard University alumna, has launched Troodie, an innovative AI-powered app based in Charlotte, NC, designed to enhance restaurant sales and improve dining experiences for foodies and travelers. Troodie fosters a vibrant community where users can share restaurant experiences and create personalized boards to organize their favorite dining spots. Unlike traditional review platforms, Troodie offers a collaborative and easy-to-navigate approach for discovering new eateries. The app serves as the first AI-driven social commerce platform that links influencer content with actual diner behaviors, providing restaurants with valuable marketing insights through first-party data. With features like community sharing and curated recommendations, Troodie aims to connect the right diners with the right restaurants, driving measurable traffic and sales. Currently, the app has partnered with over 70 restaurants and 30 influencers. Davis recently secured $4,000 from the Baddies in Tech AI Pitch Competition to support Troodie’s launch and its pre-seed funding efforts of $500K.
