Ashley Roshan Colombo, a forensic examiner from HTX, emphasized the rise of GenAI-facilitated crimes in Singapore, advocating for user-friendly AI tools for forensic analysis. HTX introduced AlchemiX, an innovative deepfake detection system, adept at identifying manipulated media by analyzing subtle inconsistencies. The conference underscored the need for coordinated international efforts to address cybersecurity challenges, with HTX leaders expressing commitment to evolving AI technologies to outpace emerging threats. This collaboration, building on previous INTERPOL initiatives, demonstrates a commitment to bolster law enforcement’s capabilities in leveraging AI for effective crime prevention and response.
