Instagram has introduced a new feature called “Your Algorithm,” allowing users to gain direct control over the videos in their Reels tab. Utilizing AI, this feature adapts to your interests in real time, ensuring your feed reflects your preferences. Currently rolling out in the U.S. and soon to be available globally, “Your Algorithm” enhances user experience by showcasing topics that shape your Reels while allowing easy adjustments.
To access this feature, click the Reels icon and tap the small heart icon at the top right to view and tune your interests. You can see your top interests, add new topics, or specify what you want to see less of. This control aims to personalize your feed, reducing random content while helping you discover new creators. As Instagram plans to expand this feature to the Explore tab, users can expect a more curated experience in their social media interaction.
