Designed to enhance productivity, users can now perform tasks and gather information without toggling between multiple applications. “Atlas allows users to open a ChatGPT sidebar on any webpage for tasks like summarizing or inquiries,” stated OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Currently available for macOS users with various account types, and soon for Windows, iOS, and Android, Atlas features a simple home screen with a ChatGPT dialog box.
Key functionalities include Agent mode, assisting users with tasks while ensuring control, and browser memories, allowing ChatGPT to personalize responses based on past interactions.
