Google has introduced a new feature called Scheduled Actions to its Gemini service, now available on Android, iOS, and web platforms. This feature lets users schedule commands for specific times or events by providing details in a prompt. Once set up, Gemini confirms and enables the action, with options to manage it via a profile menu on mobile or a side panel on the web. Users can pause, resume, or delete scheduled actions, and the web version includes an advanced editor for task modification. Users can have up to 10 active Scheduled Actions, which are helpful for daily tasks like summaries of calendars, to-do lists, or restaurant suggestions. This feature is accessible to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, as well as qualifying Google Workspace plans, effectively enhancing task management and personal assistant capabilities for users.
