Introducing Photoshop’s AI Assistant: Your New Image Editing Ally!

Adobe recently unveiled enhanced AI features for its Creative Cloud apps, enabling users to edit images and documents simply by describing changes to a chatbot interface. A public beta of the AI Assistant has launched for Photoshop on both web and mobile, allowing users to remove distractions, adjust lighting, change backgrounds, and more. While currently unavailable for the full desktop version, the AI Assistant is expected to expand its capabilities, building on prior beta phases for Express and Acrobat. Users can choose between automatic edits or step-by-step guidance to learn editing processes. Additionally, Adobe plans to integrate tools for Express and Acrobat directly within Microsoft’s Copilot service, enabling seamless conversational adjustments. This follows similar integrations with ChatGPT, enhancing the user experience across platforms. The introduction of AI Assistant streamlines design workflows, positioning Adobe at the forefront of agentic AI in creative applications.
