Introducing the TCL QM9K: The First Google TV Powered by Gemini – Now You Have a Great Reason to Talk to Your TV!

TCL recently unveiled its flagship mini-LED TV, the QM9K, at a NYC event, highlighting several industry firsts. Notably, it is the first Google TV to integrate Gemini, an AI assistant capable of engaging users in detailed conversations to search for content. Another innovation is Dolby FlexConnect, allowing seamless, automated speaker placement around the room for an immersive Dolby Atmos experience, rivaling high-end soundbars. With a peak brightness of 6,500 nits and 6,000 local dimming zones, the QM9K delivers stunning visuals, comparable to OLED displays. The ZeroBorder design maximizes the picture quality, while the CrystGlow WHVA panel ensures wide viewing angles without color distortion. Additionally, gaming enthusiasts can enjoy 144Hz VRR via HDMI 2.1 and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The QM9K comes in sizes from 65 to 98 inches, set to hit Best Buy and select retailers this month, making it a must-have for tech aficionados.
