This strategic initiative aims to position John Lewis products prominently on AI platforms like Google Gemini and ChatGPT, enhancing visibility when customers seek inspiration. The rollout, part of an £800 million transformation program, will facilitate seamless transactions via third-party apps for quick and convenient shopping. John Lewis has also extended its partnership with commercetools to incorporate new AI features, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the retail revolution. Additionally, the brand has launched a pilot program on TikTok Shop, focusing on beauty and gifting items, including a sold-out Mother’s Day Beauty Box. Later this month, John Lewis will expand its footprint in on-demand shopping through Uber Eats, offering 3,000 products from select stores. These efforts aim to attract new customers and enhance the overall shopping experience across digital and physical platforms.
