Edmonds College will host its third annual AI For Everyone Day on June 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Hazel Miller Hall. Open to the public and free of charge, this year’s theme is “Applications and Opportunities in Our Community.” Dr. Carey Schroyer, Dean of STEM, emphasizes making AI accessible for everyone. Attendees can participate in interactive workshops exploring AI applications, ethical considerations, and hands-on AI labs without prior experience. The event also includes expert talks, Q&A sessions for engagement, and networking opportunities. Workshops cover topics like improving productivity with AI, maintaining moral skills in a tech-driven world, and identifying deepfakes. Attendees can also explore AI-related programs and clubs at Edmonds College. With around 16,000 students, including international students, the college offers a comprehensive range of academic and support services. No pre-registration is necessary, and parking is available onsite.
