These tools have become essential as they streamline tasks like fact-checking and note-taking. However, I stopped using Readwise, which turned out to be less practical than anticipated, shifting my focus to collecting less information overall.
AI is a significant part of my workflow. While AI isn’t a complete solution for journalism, I utilize models like GPT-5 to enhance tasks such as sourcing interview subjects, summarizing background information, and checking for errors. My latest discovery is Notion’s new chat feature, allowing me to interact with my saved articles effectively. Additionally, I’m experimenting with Recall, an app that helps organize and summarize various media efficiently, aligning with my goal of simplifying content management.
