Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the legal sector, as highlighted in the Wolters Kluwer’s 2026 Future Ready Lawyer (FRL) Survey Report. Released on March 10, this report emphasizes that nearly all legal professionals use at least one AI tool daily, with many reporting time savings. The survey gathered insights from the U.S., China, and nine European countries, detailing how lawyers and firms are adapting to AI tools, reshaping the legal market’s structure.
Grégoire Miot, Director of Product Management at Wolters Kluwer, moderated a webinar called “Scaling AI Across Organizations,” marking a pivotal shift towards widespread AI adoption in legal practices. Panelists emphasized the importance of asking the right questions when selecting AI tools and highlighted that successful implementation hinges more on user training than on the technology itself. They recognized AI’s potential to alleviate mundane tasks, echoing past technological innovations in the legal industry, positioning lawyers as leaders in AI adoption.
