Lockheed Martin and Google Public Sector are collaborating to integrate Google’s generative AI, including Gemini models, into Lockheed Martin’s on-premises infrastructure, enhancing national security capabilities. Announced at the Google Public Sector Summit ’25, this phased deployment will initially focus on unclassified systems before progressing to classified environments, ensuring high security and mission assurance standards.
The partnership aims to streamline processes in aerospace, space exploration, and cybersecurity by enabling rapid data analysis, optimizing logistics, and accelerating research and development efforts. Lockheed Martin’s AI Factory will leverage these advanced AI tools to react faster and innovate more effectively.
Greg Forrest, VP of AI Foundations at Lockheed Martin, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in delivering secure AI solutions for mission-critical programs. Jim Kelly, VP at Google Public Sector, reinforced their commitment to providing advanced AI tools that meet government security standards, further positioning Google Cloud as a leader in AI-driven solutions.
