Manufact Secures $6.3M Funding to Enable Developers in Integrating AI Agents with Model Context Protocol

Manufact Inc., formerly known as mcp-use, has successfully raised $6.3 million in seed funding to enhance its AI infrastructure platform, which utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The funding round was led by Peak XV with participation from Liquid 2 Ventures, Ritual Capital, Pioneer Fund, Y Combinator, and key angel investors. Founded in 2025, Manufact aims to simplify the integration of AI models, services, and datasets for developers. MCP serves as a universal standard, streamlining AI communication and enabling easier scalability. With 5 million downloads to date, Manufact offers an open-source SDK that allows rapid experimentation and prototyping. As demand rises, the company plans to expand its infrastructure and team, striving to be the premier framework for MCP development. Co-founders Pietro Zullo and Luigi Pederzani emphasize that their mission is to alleviate developers from integration challenges, enabling them to focus on innovative product development.
