Meta Platforms Inc.’s Manus unit has announced the integration of its innovative Manus Agents with popular messaging apps like Telegram, WhatsApp, LINE, and Slack. The launch starts with Telegram, allowing users to create personal AI agents capable of performing complex tasks such as apartment searching, hotel booking, and food ordering—far beyond traditional chatbots. Unlike competitors like OpenClaw, Manus is user-friendly, focusing on simplicity and efficiency. Users can activate their Manus agent via QR code and customize responses for specific needs. Use cases include data processing and meeting preparation, while Manus’s flexibility allows toggling between models for different tasks. Manus co-founder Tao Zhang announced an accelerated rollout for other messaging platforms and plans for Windows and Mac apps that extend its functionality to users’ PCs. Acquired by Meta in December, Manus continues as an independent entity while integrating deeper into Meta’s systems.
