Microsoft is set to refresh Windows 11 with significant updates this July, introducing new AI features that have been tested via the Windows Insider program. The update includes semantic and agentic search capabilities within the Settings menu, allowing users to perform tasks using natural language. Users will now be able to easily adjust settings like display resolution with the help of an AI agent. Notably, the Click-to-Do feature will integrate with Copilot and an app called Reading Coach, enhancing context-aware actions for text manipulation. Additional updates are also coming to Paint, introducing AI-generated stickers and an Object Select tool, alongside a new Relight feature for photo editing on Snapdragon X devices. Furthermore, the Snipping Tool will receive an AI-enhanced “perfect screenshot” functionality. Overall, these updates aim to improve user experience and reduce unexpected crashes by 22% compared to prior versions of Windows 11.
