Midway YC’s AI Gathering: Insights from LessWrong, Arbor, and Manifest

We are currently halfway through YC’s AI Start School and are eager to connect with more new people. To foster this, we are planning the world’s first invasive and noninvasive neural hackathon. Over the past week, I’ve met numerous like-minded engineers during various events. These interactions occurred at LessOnline 2025, Manifest 2025, organized by the prediction market company Manifold, and at the Arbor Summer Camp, hosted at Berkeley’s Lighthaven venue. The goal is to unite innovative minds and explore the potential of neural technologies together.
