Moroccan university students can now access Google’s premium AI tools for free for 12 months through the Gemini Pro subscription. This initiative is part of Google’s educational mission, allowing students aged 18 and above to utilize advanced AI capabilities until December 9. Participants will benefit from Gemini 2.5 Pro, offering 2 TB of cloud storage and features like unlimited conversations and advanced reasoning capabilities.
To activate the subscription, students must verify their academic status via SheerID and provide a valid university email and proof of enrollment. Key features include Deep Research for efficient information synthesis, Gemini Live for interactive AI discussions, and tools for creating customized study materials like quizzes and flashcards.
Additionally, creative applications like Whisk and Flow enable students to produce multimedia content effectively. This initiative aims to enhance students’ AI skills, preparing them for academic success and future careers, echoing similar programs in several other countries.
