Elon Musk’s xAI is developing a kid-friendly version of its Grok chatbot, named Baby Grok, dedicated to age-appropriate content. Announced on the social media platform X, this new app aims to provide a safer environment for younger users, amid ongoing improvements to Grok’s capabilities. Recently, Grok 4 was launched, addressing prior criticisms over antisemitic remarks and enhancing functionality, including creative tools like viral video generation. The xAI team also introduced a $300/month subscription, SuperGrok Heavy, featuring a multi-agent version of Grok 4, which excels in advanced reasoning tasks. Grok 4 topped the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index across various benchmarks, underscoring its performance. Additionally, xAI has rolled out Grok for Government, allowing US federal agencies to utilize its AI models. Reports indicate xAI may seek new capital, potentially reaching a valuation between $170 billion and $200 billion, solidifying its place among leading private AI companies in the global market.
