The controversy highlights ongoing tensions in the realm of AI-generated media and intellectual property rights. OpenAI’s legal challenges further compound with a separate lawsuit from OverDrive, which claims similarities between Sora’s icon and its own. Currently, Sora continues to display “Cameo,” with compliance to the court order yet to be determined.
