With over 230 million weekly health-related queries, health is a crucial focus for ChatGPT. It ensures privacy by storing health conversations separately and employing encryption. Users in the U.S. can connect their medical records through b.well, while various integrations enhance the functionality. Developed over two years with input from over 260 physicians globally, ChatGPT Health aims to support users with understanding lab results, preparing doctor visit questions, and receiving diet advice—without replacing professional medical care. Currently, access is limited to a waitlist for users on different ChatGPT plans outside the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK, with plans for further expansion soon.
