OpenAI’s Sam Altman Anticipates GPT-5 Release This Summer

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman discusses the highly anticipated GPT-5 in a podcast, revealing only a tentative release timeframe for summer. He remains noncommittal about whether GPT-5 will be a significant advancement or simply an iteration of GPT-4. The complexity of AI model development has blurred the lines between version releases, making it unclear how noticeable changes will be between future models.
