Despite the excitement surrounding AI, many experts warn of a potential bubble, as OpenAI has not yet turned a profit and continues to burn through investor funding. CEO Sam Altman acknowledges the need for alternative revenue sources, given that only about 5% of ChatGPT’s estimated 800 million users pay for the service. While various subscription tiers exist, only the free and lowest paid plans will feature ads, sparking both intrigue and skepticism among users.
