OnePlus has unveiled OxygenOS 16, debuting with the upcoming OnePlus 15, which integrates the latest Android 16 features with fluid animations and AI capabilities reminiscent of Nothing OS. A standout feature is the enhanced synergy between the “Mind Space” app and Google Gemini, allowing personalized AI responses by referencing stored content. The new AI Writer can seamlessly transform text into mind maps and help generate social media captions, while photo enhancements like AI Portrait Glow and AI Perfect Shot provide improved visibility and composition. OxygenOS 16 also emphasizes customization, offering new lock screen options, animated GIFs, and scalable app icons. With Parallel Processing 2.0, app transitions become smoother as new animations initiate before prior tasks finalize. Additional features include extended tablet multitasking and new connectivity options for mirroring to macOS and Windows computers. OxygenOS 16 will launch alongside the OnePlus 15 and will be available for select existing devices starting November 2025.
