The chatbot responds to common, context-specific questions, enhancing efficiency in patient care and expediting hospital discharges. For instance, it can answer inquiries about providing support to individuals with memory issues, offering immediate solutions and resources. Shabina Qayyum, the council’s cabinet member for adults and health, emphasizes the importance of technology in reducing patient delays and supporting independence. This initiative not only alleviates workload pressures on staff but also maintains a personal touch, with many employees believing they are still interacting with Jinks directly.
