During the workshop, aimed at enhancing journalists’ skills, Patil and District Collector P Pravinya discussed the challenges posed by AI-generated content and misleading visuals, stressing that even minor inaccuracies can lead to societal panic and erode public trust. Satya Priya introduced various AI tools, including NotebookLM, ChatGPT, and Google Pinpoint, advocating for their responsible use to improve reporting accuracy. The interactive session encouraged journalists to embrace these technologies to elevate professional standards while remaining cautious about privacy concerns. This initiative underscores the need for continuous training in the digital age to ensure responsible journalism and effective dissemination of information.
