Pocket FM, a Series D-funded audio platform, has reported that its creator ecosystem has surpassed ₹300 crore and aims to reach ₹1,000 crore by 2026. The platform has raised approximately $197 million, including a $103 million Series D round. In FY25, Pocket Entertainment, its parent company, saw a 68% revenue increase to ₹1,768 crore from ₹1,052 crore the previous year. Over 300,000 creators published stories on Pocket FM, leveraging AI-assisted tools for episodic content production. Notably, the top 10% of monetized creators earned over ₹50 crore in 2025, with the top 1% making more than ₹50 lakh annually. Moreover, over 20% of creators now earn above ₹1 lakh monthly. Pocket FM’s AI tools simplify content planning and production, enabling individual creators to publish efficiently without needing large teams for scripting and editing. This success exemplifies the potential for income generation through digital storytelling platforms.
